How To Join Our Club

New club members are always welcome. Members ages range between 6 and 60 and all vary in ability so anyone is very welcome to join us. Even if you're a complete novice, we have two fully trained coaches who can teach you how to skate and learn techniques that help you to win races. If you have that competitive winning streak, come and see what it's all about at the rink on Saturday! All you need is a pair of skates - inline or quad - and a cycling helmet. Training sessions are £6.00 each time and the first session is free - so come along and give it a try! Indoor training takes place at Skaters roller skating rink in Walpole Highway every Saturday between 5 and 7pm. The address for Skaters is Mill Road, Walpole Highway. PE14 7QJ. In the summer months we can be found on the Fenland roads during the week.
To be able to start racing you will need to be a registered member of this club as well as a member of FISS, the Speed Skating Governing Body. Please see a member of the committee at training for more information on this.

Our rink has a maple wood floor.

This is where we train outdoors. The tarmac is nice and smooth!
